Unlikely Story of Driver Getting a Ticket and a Gift From Police Officer

Unlikely Story of Driver Getting a Ticket and a Gift From Police Officer - this blog was written by TicketKick.com, Your Go-To Resource for Beating Traffic Tickets.

CBS DFW news reported a Texas Man received a little more than a traffic ticket for no registration this December. When the driver was pulled over for having expired registration the police officer learned it was because the man couldn’t afford to both renew his registration and feed his family. The officer didn’t give the man a complete break as he was still given a traffic ticket, but the officer did surprise the man with a $100 bill. With California Ticket Prices, $100 wouldn’t quite cut it as a traffic ticket for no current registration is over $200.00. But a traffic ticket for expired registration is also a fix-it-ticket in California, so if you are able to show proof of current registration to the court, you will be charged you only a nominal fee and the ticket will be dismissed.  - this blog was written by TicketKick.com, Your Go-To Resource for Beating Traffic Tickets
