How often your driving record gets checked by your insurance company might depend on where you live

How often your driving record gets checked by your insurance company might depend on where you live - this blog was written by TicketKick.com, Your Go-To Resource for Beating Traffic Tickets.

According to a recent study by insurancequotes.com, it's becoming more common for insurers not to frequently check the driving records of their policyholders, partly due to states charging a lot for access to driving records.

Each state charges a different amount for obtaining a motor vehicle record – ranging from $2 in California, to $10 in Pennsylvania, to nearly $30 in Oklahoma, according to the report.

It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for insurers to access a driving record in California, which means you might get checked more often here.
