How to Find Your Courthouse After Losing a Ticket - this blog was written by TicketKick.com, Your Go-To Resource for Beating Traffic Tickets.
After losing a ticket, you may have also lost your only document with the name of the courthouse your ticket will be filed with. You will not always receive a notice in the mail from your courthouse reminding you of your ticket due date and where to appear, so you will need to take action to avoid missing court deadlines.
You can track down your courthouse by going to the California Court website http://www.courts.ca.gov/home.htm . From the home page click the “Courts” tab then click “Superior Courts”. The Superior Courts are the trial courts which handle traffic violations. From the Superior Courts Menu select “Find my Court” and from there you will be able to scroll through every courthouse, or you can search by the city or county you were ticketed in.
Many court websites also offer online services and you can check for any ticket in your name filed with the court by entering information such as your birth date or drivers license number. - this blog was written by TicketKick.com, Your Go-To Resource for Beating Traffic Tickets
